Wrote:
I move that 12,035 baht (approx
$294.00) be approved for the continuing monthly food
program. There will be some variations during the
next couple of months as to the number of packets
and schools as we relocate to schools that have not
yet been served by TLCB: Non Bua Naratchakwai 6
(will remain - extremely poor); Sang Hin School 4
(will be dropping - great improvement)
Nuen Sa At School 4 (will be dropping - great
improvement); Nong Kah Ko Koon 7 (new school grades
K - 9 almost 300 kids);
Na Sai School 4 (will be
dropping - great improvement); BAn Po Wan 4 (New
school - will remain); Na Ratchakwai - left this
month; Na ratchakwai Noi - left this month. This
program has been one of the most successful. Through
it students and staff have been given new hope,
thanks to TLCB. Because of our donations, these
schools have now taken courage to seek additional
funding on their own, and all the schools we are
leaving now have additional funding sources. I will
continue to monitor these schools, as I do all the
others we have served. Actual: $300.75

Wrote:
I move that 8,200 baht (approx
$200.00) be approved to rehab bathroom facilities at
Nong Bua Ratchakwai Elementary school. These funds
will provide for the purchase of approximately 80
square meters of tile, sand and other materials
needed. If this motion is approved, an additional
request will be submitted next month to purchase the
cement needed to complete the project.

also allow me to make the trip only once a quarter.
